Penrith City Council generally holds a Citizenship Ceremony once per
month. The average wait time from the time of receiving a letter of
approval from the Department of Home Affairs to attending a Penrith City
Council Citizenship Ceremony is approximately 6 months. Penrith City
Council does not know who will be attending a Citizenship Ceremony until
around three weeks prior to the Ceremony, and our staff do not have access
to the Department of Home Affairs waitlist. To find out more about wait
