Citizenship Ceremony Dates for 2026
Dear Parramatta City Council,
We have been approved for the Citizenship in November 2025.
Please let us know the citizenship ceremony dates for the year 2026. I fully understand that Riverside theatres is under construction and alternate venues are being considered. I sincerely request the council to schedule the dates and kindly communicate the same at the earliest. This will help many of us to plan our year ahead.

Thank you for contacting City of Parramatta Council regarding your
citizenship ceremony query.
The delivery of the Australian Citizenship Program and all citizenship
information is managed by the Department of Home Affairs, including
applications, approvals, invitations and the allocation of conferees to
ceremony dates and times. If you have not yet been in touch with the
Australian Citizenship Information Line, it is best to phone 131 880 in
Australia for any further information or requests regarding your
Australian Citizenship. If you have concerns in regards to your individual
wait time, please contact the Department of Home Affairs for further
advice of your individual status. Information is also available on the
Department of Home Affairs website: [1]https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/
The Department also manages applications regarding urgent ceremonies. If
you have compassionate or compelling grounds for an urgent ceremony, you
may request one through the Department of Home Affairs by completing
the [2]Request for urgent citizenship ceremony form and emailing it
to [3][email address]. Conferees are advised that all
fields in the form must be completed with supporting evidence attached so
that requests can be assessed and considered by the Department.
