Covid-19 isolation information request

Kevin Reutens made this Freedom of Information request to Department of Health

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was successful.

Dear Department of Health,

In reference to the Freedom of Information Act 1982 I would like to please provide me with the documents/information held within the Department of Health showing evidence of the isolation of the SARS-Cov-2 virus.
To eliminate the possibility of contamination, these documents would need to show the virus has been isolated from the sample of a symptomatic patient of COVID 19, that hasn't been first combined with any other source of genetic material (not limited to but by way of example; mouse/monkey kidney cells/vero cells or liver cancer cells.)

As this information is of extreme public interest at this time, I request any fee for finding this information to be waived. I assume this request is held for future reference as part of the request process. I look forward to your reply at your earliest convenience

Yours faithfully,

Kevin Reutens
