DA complaints 2015/6
Dear Warrumbungle Shire Council,
Myself and my wife applied for a DAs in 2015/6, and we waited a long time before it was approved. we were told that there had been a complaint regarding our DA so the council were obliged to act upon it. We are requesting a copy of any complaint under the freedom of information act (GIPA) for our records, whether written or verbal complaint.

Following investigation Council has found no record of complaints, written or verbal, relating to your Development Applications for 36 Dalgarno Street Coonabarabran being lot 21 DP586742.
The only complaint received regarding your property was in relation to drainage as advised by Mr Dale Oliver by telephone on Tuesday 19 April 2016. This complaint was unrelated to your Development Applications.
Should you wish to inspect your Development Application file you may contact Council’s Development Services Department to arrange a suitable appointment per Council’s Agency Information Guide. This inspection is free of charge.
Please be advised as per Councils Agency Information Guide “It should be noted however that ‘personal information’ relating to individuals may be protected under the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act, 1998 and may not be able to be made available with the consent of the person involved.”
