I am writing to request the following documents for the purpose of the FOI Act.

SCOPE:
- All documents, draft documents, correspondence and attachments created since commencement of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Amendment (Getting the NDIS Back on Track No. 1) Act 2024, relating to mapping NDIS supports lists to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) for the purposes of the transitional or final NDIS Supports (s10) rule

- Any training materials or briefings on CRPD matters for the purposes of the s10 rule

- An indexed list of all evaluations and stakeholder consultations undertaken on the s10 rule between 1 November 2024 to 5 June 2025, representatives who attended these, and whether stakeholders were subject to confidentiality or non-disclosure agreements

IRRELEVANT MATERIAL:
- Personal information of APS staff, other than names of DSS SES
- Internal team email addresses
- Personal information of members of the public other than names of DRO/DRCO representatives or external consultants

Please consider all other information in such documents relevant.

THIRD-PARTY CONSULTATION:
Should third-party consultations be required for some documents after preliminary searches, please treat those documents as a separate request to enable a timely decision on documents not requiring further consultation.

Yours faithfully,

Cat

Dear Department of Social Services,

If this one is ready to release (which the request to redact Teams details suggests, and which I've already agreed to), can you please release it today as a priority rather than holding out until 7 July, which would in fact be outside the 30 days, given the actual due date is this Sunday 6 July?

I ask you do so today rather than Friday, as this information is valuable in supporting members of the public to engage meaningfully in the short consultation window for NDIS Supports currently open on DSS Engage, when the rulemaking powers expressly reference the CRPD, which of course, includes provisions regarding consultation.

I look forward to reading the Department's work in this area to date.

Yours faithfully,

Cat
