Dear Australian Biological Resources Study (ABRS) Advisory Committee,

Can I please have a copy of the current FOI Delegations, and any related directions issued in respect of FOI.

I believe this information could be considered "operational information" so I therefore request release under the IPS, or under Administrative Access.

Yours faithfully,

Ben Fairless

ABRS, Australian Biological Resources Study (ABRS) Advisory Committee

Dear Mr Fairless

Thank you for your enquiry. Apologies for our delay in reply.

There are no FOI delegations in force for the Australian Biological
Resources Study (ABRS) Advisory Committee, as it was disbanded in 2014.

The ABRS (separate from the Committee) continues to exist, however it is
considered part of the Australian Government Department of the Environment
and Energy (the Department) for the purposes of the Freedom of Information
Act 1982 (FOI Act). If decisions are made in respect of documents held by
the ABRS, they are made in accordance with the Department's FOI
delegations.

Regards

Director, Biodiversity Science
Department of the Environment and Energy
