On 18 July 2025, the Australian National University (the University)
received your request for access to documents under the Freedom of
Information Act 1982 (the FOI Act).

Scope of request:

I seek copies of any documents held by the University dated between 30
June 2025 and 18 July 2025, inclusive, that refer to or mention Golden
Goose sneakers or shoes in general, where relevant to the context of
Golden Goose sneakers. This includes, but is not limited to:

Emails or internal correspondence mentioning Golden Goose sneakers or
similar footwear’

Meeting notes, memos, or other records relating to Golden Goose sneakers
or footwear

Any documentation or receipts relating to purchases or attempted purchases
of sneakers or shoes, including any receipts from eBay

Any references to the article published in The Canberra Times on 30 June
2025 mentioning Golden Goose sneakers

Please interpret this request broadly. I am particularly interested in
correspondence or documentation generated within the ANU’s executive,
communications/media team, procurement, or any other unit that may have
referenced the article or the footwear in question.’

Processing Timeframe

The statutory time frame for processing your request is 30 calendar days
from day after the date your request was received by the University. You
should therefore expect a decision from us by 17 August 2025.

This period of 30 days may be extended if we need to consult third
parties, impose a charge or for other reasons. We will advise you in
writing if this happens.
