Dear MBX FOI,
Thank you for your update, Chris,
If possible, could you send through BEFORE the 15th August deadline the requested information that is NOT third party related ..i.e (ASA created /researched dos and data) and community survey data.
This will allow our group to at least meet your own ASA deadline for feedback and review on the current PIR of flight paths into Hobart Airport.
If this is not met by 15th August 2025 I will be escalating this request.
In regards to any third party related documents requested, that you have communicated sits under section 27 (business documents) and/or section 27A (documents affecting personal privacy) of the FOI Act, I will then wait for these remaining documents and data by 15 September 2025.
Yours sincerely,
Cathy Minnucci
Dear Airservices Australia,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Airservices Australia's handling of my FOI request 'Hobart Airport PIR assessment data'.
Hobart flight paths assessment reports were released by ASA on the 16th July 2025.
A FOI request was made on the same day requesting information.
I now find that 30 days has passed and a further 30 days has been applied to this FOI by ASA in accordance with section 15(6)(a) of the FOI Act.
The FOI request made on the 16th July 2025 would include information that is not 3rd party related as it has been generated by ASA themselves. I would like a review as to why THIS information has not been released within the mandatory 30 days ...i,e 15th August 2025?
As mentioned in my reply 13/8/25 to ASA member, I am happy to wait for the remaining “other” documents and data by 15 September 2025.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.righttoknow.org.au/request/h...
Yours faithfully,
Cathy Minnucci
