Dear Monika,

I made an informal application, not a GIPA application. Did you even read my email?

Yours sincerely,

Hello Ben,
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 8(3) of the Government Information
(Public Access) Act (2009) I am writing to advise you that due to the
nature of your request an ‘informal’ application will not be accepted. It
is therefore necessary that a ‘formal application’ under the Government
Information (Public Access) Act 2009 be submitted. I have enclosed a copy
of this form and credit card authority to assist you.

Please note that from the information supplied in your Informal
application, it would appear that your request relates to Non-Personal
information.  If you decide to resubmit a Formal Access Application, you
should be aware that it may incur a processing fee which is charged at $30
per hour.  If this does occur, an estimate of charges will be forwarded
prior to any work being undertaken.

If you have any queries concerning your application, please contact this
office on 8835 6888.

Regards,
Monika
NSW Police Information Access Unit
