Information about use of civilians as assets 2015 - 2024

M.M made this Freedom of Information request to Australian Security Intelligence Organisation
This authority is not subject to FOI law, so is not legally obliged to respond (details).

Response to this request is long overdue. Although not legally required to do so, we would have expected Australian Security Intelligence Organisation to have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Australian Security Intelligence Organisation,

Under the Freedom of Information Act 1982, I request access to any documents, internal policies, operational protocols, or training materials created between 2015 and 2024 that relate to the recruitment or use of civilians (i.e. non-agency individuals) as covert assets, informants, or behavioural influence tools within Australian territory.

This includes any references to psychological manipulation, relationship-based surveillance, or coordinated behavioural modification techniques targeting individuals or communities.

I do not seek personal information and am happy to accept redacted documents where appropriate. Please provide electronic copies.

Yours faithfully,
M.M
