Dear Angus,

Thank you for your below Enquiry (ref: 2016/664079), requesting information on:

"the removal of the waterloo housing commission in order to make way for the new rail system. Including any current statistics (2015-16) related to the units, i.e. demographics of inhabitants, police reports, costings etc".

I have sought advice from one of Council's managers, in Strategic Planning and Urban Design, in order to assist with your enquiry.

They have advised me to direct you to Urban Growth NSW (http://www.urbangrowth.nsw.gov.au/), to NSW Land & Housing Corporation (https://www.facs.nsw.gov.au/about_us/lan...) and to the Australian Bureau of Statistics (http://www.abs.gov.au/).

These government agencies should hold the information you request. You may also find some demographic information on the following Council link:

http://www.cityofsydney.nsw.gov.au/learn...

Finally, I was advised that Council does not hold any police reports relating to this project.

Merry Christmas and a Happy and Safe New Year ahead.

Kind regards
