Thank you for your email. Freedom of Information (FOI) is a process to request documents and information from government agencies. Under the FOI Act 1991 Section 13, there are requirements to meet before a request is considered valid (see below).

Please note that there is an application fee of $43.30 or if you have a current Concession Card, a copy would need to be provided so we can waive the fees. There is an online application form that can be found at https://www.sa.gov.au/topics/about-sa/go....

Once a valid application is received, I will send you an acknowledgment letter to say that your application is being processed and it outlines your review options. An agency has 30 days to provide a determination to your application.

13-Applications for access to agencies' documents

An application for access to an agency's document-
(a) must be in writing; and
(b) must specify that it is made under this Act; and
(c) must be accompanied by such application fee as may be prescribed; and
(d) must contain such information as is reasonably necessary to enable the document to be identified; and
(e) must specify an address in Australia to which notices under this Act should be sent; and
(f) must be lodged at an office of the agency, and may request that access to the document be given in a particular way.
