please send me a reply email confirming that such details are irrelevant
to your request for access?

Processing Timeframes

In accordance with section 15(5)(b) of the FOI Act, a 30-day statutory
period for processing your request commenced fro18 December 2024.
Unfortunately, this 30-day period expired on 16 January 2025.  We will
still endeavour to process your request as soon as possible.

Dear Glenn Hamiltonshire

Thank you for your request for information.

Apologies for the delay in providing you a decision on access.

We would like to assure you that your application has continued to
progress, and we are pleased to say that we are approaching the completion
of your request.

We are writing to seek clarification regarding the images/photographs of
individuals contained in one of the documents within the scope of your
request.

These images were originally obtained with consent for limited internal
use by the Agency, such as for training purposes. As such, some of these
are not available for external release due to privacy considerations.

Upon review, we can confirm that excluding these images will not impact
the content or subject matter of the document in any way.

Under section 22 of the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act, we are permitted
to provide access to edited copies of documents with irrelevant material
removed. We therefore seek your confirmation on whether these
images/photographs can be treated as irrelevant to your request.

Could I please ask that you confirm your preference by COB Tuesday, 13 May
2025 via email at [1][NDIA request email]?

If you have any questions or require assistance, please don’t hesitate to
contact us at the same email address.

Thank you
