As per my email below, can you please call me as a matter of some urgency. I would like to discuss the scope of your request, as the present wording is too wide to allow processing. I would like to discuss the matter with you in an attempt to avoid the practical refusal consultation process.

As discussed, AMSA will proceed on the basis that the scope of your FOI
request is as follows: “All briefings prepared for senior officials for
the latest senate estimates hearings that contain the words ‘operation
sovereign borders’ and/or ‘OSB’”

I just had a helpful call with Peter.
He advised that his main concern was the authority's ability to comprehensively search for all documents containing the OSB phrase.
He stated that to search for all emails they would need to contact each person involved individually and there would obviously be a big time and cost involved in this. He stated that they had no way of centrally searching their email system.
I told Peter I was interested in the documents senior officials used to prepare for Senate Estimates and he suggested I limit my search to briefings prepared specifically for Estimates that mention OSB.
Peter will send an email with my revised scope shortly.
