Dear eSafety Commissioner,

Where is the Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) Register published? As required by section 15(1) of the Australian Government Agencies Privacy Code?

Yours faithfully,

Rex Banner

FOI, eSafety Commissioner

OFFICIAL: Sensitive

Dear Mr Banner,

Thank you for your enquiry. We have not treated it as an FOI request as
you have sought an answer to a question and not access to documents.

eSafety has recently identified that we have not published a privacy
impact assessment (PIA) register as required by section 15(1) of the
Privacy (Australian Government Agencies – Governance) APP Code 2017. We
are taking steps to create an up to date PIA register, after which we will
publish it on our website.

We will contact you again to let you know once the PIA register has been
published.

Kind regards,

FOI Coordinator
