Qld state school textbook and uniform revenue

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Queensland Department of Education should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Queensland Department of Education and Training,

May I please request a report showing the annual textbook and uniform sales revenue of metropolitan region state high schools for years 2018 - 2022? This includes revenue from external uniform and textbook providers.

Also SMS Finance Annual Financials data extract of textbook hire, voluntary contributions, extra curricular activities and school trading income for Metro state high schools for years 2018-2022?

Yours faithfully,

Anonymous

Dear Sir/Madam,

I refer to your email below.

I have been informed the information requested is not readily available as
the department’s finance systems is limited by the account structures
which does not separate accounts for hire of facilities, uniform sales or
textbook sales revenue.   However, financial information about individual
Queensland state schools is available through the MySchool website
([1]https://myschool.edu.au/). Revenue for items such as textbooks, hire
of facilities, extra-curricular activities (along with others) is included
across the Fees, Charges, and Parent Contributions and the Other Private
Sources Income Line items.

Kind regards

Fiona Headrick
