Reasons for On Leash regulation at Person Reserve

Charmaine Bhot made this Freedom of Information request to Bayside City Council (Victoria)

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Bayside City Council (Victoria) should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Bayside City Council (Victoria),

I recently requested a review of the On Leash ruling at our local park, Peterson Reserve due to the lack of off leash parks in the area and unfair ruling to residents with dogs.

As rate payers we should be able to enquire and at least get the reasons why it is decided that way. Simply responding saying its not up for review with no reason why is authoritarianism and not meeting the needs of rate payers.

Please release the reasons for the On Leash ruling for Peterson reserve.

Yours faithfully,
Charmaine Bhot
