Removal of Norfolk Pine 6 Coast Avenue Cronulla

The request was successful.

Dear Sutherland Shire Council,

I would like to obtain a copy of the approved application and the reason for the removal of a 200-year old Norfolk Pine from the property belonging to Stella Maris Aged Care Facility, 6 Coast Avenue, Cronulla 2230.

This majestic tree was removed on 2 February 2023.

The tree was in very good health and condition, with lush green foliage. There were no issues with its root system.

The neighbouring residents were not notified, and its incomprehensible removal has had an instant, dramatic affect on the neighbouring properties in regard to outlook and shade.

Please provide the approval and reason for this at your earliest.

Yours faithfully,

J. Linden
