School spend on agency staff

Please could you provide me with Relief Staff and Agency Supply Staff spend data for the 2016/2017 academic year, broken down by Primary and secondary schools- for Victoria.

Should the data be available, I would also like to receive a breakdown of spend by different recruitment agencies/companies, by school.

Dear Mr Graham

I refer to your application received by the Department of Education and Training (the Department) seeking access under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (the Act) to:

Please could you provide me with Relief Staff and Agency Supply Staff spend data for the 2016/2017 academic year, broken down by Primary and secondary schools- for Victoria.

Should the data be available, I would also like to receive a breakdown of spend by different recruitment agencies/companies, by school.

The Act provides that an application fee of $28.40 must accompany each request. Please forward a cheque or money order for $28.40, made payable to the Department of Education and Training to -

The Act also provides that the application fee may be waived or reduced if payment of the fee would cause financial hardship. If you consider this to be the case, this can be shown by providing a copy of a pension card, health care card or a statement of hardship.

Your request cannot proceed until the application fee or evidence to support hardship has been received as it is not a valid request. I would appreciate it if you would respond by 4 May 2018, otherwise I will assume that you do not wish to proceed with your request and no further action will be taken by the Department.

Please note under section 21 of the Act an agency may extend the 30 day period if consultation is required under section 29, 29A, 31, 31A, 33, 34 or 35. As part of this consultation process, third parties will be notified of your details and information regarding your request.
