of Information Act 1982:

1. Current social media policy of the department, which covers
departmental use and/or private use by employees in an individual
capacity.

2. Any current guidance material which is available for employees to make informed decisions about their private social media use.

Dear Mr Smith

I refer to your requests through the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI
Act) to the Family Court of Australia (below) and the Federal Circuit
Court, both of which have been examined as a single request, as allowed
under section 24(2)(b) of the FOI Act where two requests are for
substantially the same subject matter.

As authorised under section 23 of the FOI Act to make decisions in
relation to the Act, the FOI unit has made searches for all documents held
by the Courts that fall within the scope of your request. The following
documents have been discovered and considered for release -

1. The Courts' Social Media Policy (Human Resources Policy);

2. Internet and Email, Policy (Information, Communication and Technology
Services Policy); and

3. Email, Internet and Social Media Declaration (Human Resources Form).

A decision has been made to release to you in full without redaction the
above-mentioned documents, as attached here:

This material will also be published on the Courts' respective disclosure
logs, in accordance with usual FOI procedure.
