Dear Australian Taxation Office,

The findings of a study on the effectiveness of financial penalties for tax crime was presented at the ATO on October 9, 2017. It was from a secondment to the ANU.

The following is requested:

A. All emails between Chris Leech and staff of the TTPI at the Crawford School of Policy, between 5 October 2017 and 6 February 2018.

B. All emails between Chris Leech and any other ATO SES, related to the publication of Mr Leech's findings, between 5 October 2017 and 6 February 2018.

Waiver of fees and charges is requested having regard to the academic use of the research.
