The Technical Advisory Branch compiles research on particular diagnoses. This type of document has been released previously as a part of FOI 23/24-0467 and FOI 21/22-1232. I am looking for those sort of documents regarding the following conditions:

1. Acquired Brain Injury
2. Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
3. Clinically Isolated Syndrome (CIS)
4. Chiari Malformation (also known as Arnold-Chiari malformation)
5. Syringomyelia (also known as a Syrinx)
6. Narcolepsy (Type 1 and Type 2)
7. Idiopathic Hypersomnia
8. Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS)

[ END SCOPE OF REQUEST ]

INFORMATION TO CLARIFY AND AID YOUR SEARCH:

From my understanding, these documents are written by TAB staff and most often titled “Research - *insert name of condition*” or “Research Request - *insert name of condition*”, although I ask you to please provide any document that fits the general description of a research report on the conditions I have listed, regardless of it’s exact title.

Please be sure to communicate this to the TAB in your search, and provide the documents released under FOI 23/24-0467 and FOI 21/22-1232 for their reference.

I look forward to your response.

Kind regards,
Emily Lacey

Dear foi,

I agree to an extension of 30 days.

Yours sincerely,
Emily Lacey

Dear foi,

I am writing to ask for an update on my request for the TAB research documents. Is it expected that you will be able to return a decision within the 30 day extension (due 04/05/24) that I have agreed to?

Kind regards,
Emily Lacey

Dear foi,

I am concerned you are not going to deliver a decision or request a further extension of time before the 04/05/2024 deadline which has been provided by the previous 30 day extension. I understand you are aware doing so would effect my rights to internal review. Please respond.
