The redacted footage of "The Fist" given to the ABC by the Department of Defence in 2014

The request was successful.

Dear Department of Defence,

I am seeking to acquire the redacted footage given to the ABC of "The Fist" made by members of the 2nd Commando Regiment in the second half of 2009. The ABC states they were given redacted footage after submitting a FOI request, and stated to me that the footage has been made publicly available by the DoD.

The ABC has also confirmed, that the Department of Defence will provide a DVD
copy of the footage, on request.

A similar request was made over 2 years ago and was rejected because the footage was part of an ongoing inquiry. I am hoping said inquiry is now over and the film can be released.

Yours faithfully,
JP
