Tobacco Excise Rates starting from 1 September 2020
Dear Australian Taxation Office,
In May 2016, the Australian Government announced that it would implement annual increases in tobacco excise of 12.5% up to and including 2020.
I would like to know the exact tax rate that will be in place from 1st September 2020 on cigarettes "In stick form not exceeding in weight 0.8 grams per stick actual tobacco content" in terms of dollars per cigarettes
