Dear Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads,

I am requesting the number of applications per year for the Translink Assistance Animal Passes.

This should include approved and Rejected applications (spit up though)

Furthermore I request that you provide all copies of the Application form that has been used by Transklink for example the verson before the item that is on the Translink Website now.

Dear Bill

Thank you for your enquiry to the Department of Transport and Main Roads
(the department) about requesting access to statistics in relation to
TransLink animal passes. Preliminary enquiries with the relevant division
indicates that the department has the requested statistics. You can apply
for documents held by this department by making an application under the
Right to Information legislation in Queensland, the Right to Information
Act 2009 (Qld) (the RTI Act).
 
Right to Information
 
If you would like to make an application, you can apply and pay online at

The application fee is $49.70. 
 
Whilst the RTI Act is intended to provide a right of access to information
held by government, this right of access is subject to the grounds for
refusal which include public interest considerations.  What this means is
that whilst the department meets the object of the RTI Act and provides
access to information/documents wherever possible, it does not guarantee
access to all or any parts of the relevant documents. 
 
Where an application will take more than five hours to finalise,
processing charges are applicable at the current rate of $7.70 per 15
minutes. Please note that the department will correspond with you with an
estimate of any applicable charges before finalising your application.
