Uniform violations by Operations Support Group commander Ewert

We're waiting for Mohammed El Khoury to read a recent response and update the status.

Mohammed El Khoury

Dear NSW Police Force,

Recently, photographs have circulated that appear to show a Mr. Ewert, commander of the Operations Support Group, with a badge that combines the Australian flag and a pro-'childlove' symbol pinned to his police uniform:

My understanding is that this falls under the discretion of the Commissioner of Police. Has the Commissioner, under reg. 58 of the Police Regulation 2015, with the Commissioner having discretion to issue directives as to what may be worn. I am requesting those directions that have been made in regards this regulation, including for example which badges/pins/patches etc the Commissioner has authorized for wearing as part of Police uniform.
