Dear Australian Postal Corporation,

Please consider processing this request administratively or informally if possible. If you decide it can’t be processed in this way, please consider this a formal FOI request.

==Background==
Australia Post was successful in applying for a “generic Top Level Domain” (gTLD) which is “.auspost”. In this request, I’ll refer to the .auspost gTLD as just “gTLD”

It’s my understanding that the gTLD can only be used by Australia Post.

== Request ==
I am seeking documents that relate to the use of the gTLD, specifically:
- Requests to create domains on the gTLD.
- Zone files for domains created on the gTLD.
- Applications from Registrants (people who want a domain) to the Registrar for domains on the gTLD
- All Registry Rules created by the Registry for the gTLD.

== Exclusions ==
I am happy to exclude as irrelevant:
- Duplicates of documents
- Names, telephone numbers, email addresses of Australia Post employees, but not position descriptions.

== Informal Consultation==
I understand that my request might capture a lot of documents which could make the request difficult to process.

Before undertaking a formal consultation process, it would be greatly appreciated if you suggest ways to limit the scope of the request, and if possible provide a summary of the documents found so I can more specifically target my request.

== Details of Requester ==
Please note, this request is made on my own behalf and not on behalf of any organisation or other entity.

Yours faithfully,

Ben Fairless
