Dear Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency,

I request that the entire meeting minutes are published including the names of those in attendance.

Yours faithfully,

Dear C Faulk

I acknowledge receipt of your Freedom of Information request seeking access to a 'copy of the meeting minutes for any meetings conducted which discussed "5G" or "5th Generation" or similar wording if identified'.

ARPANSA received your request on 2 April 2019 and the 30 day statutory period for processing your request commenced from the day after that date.

You should therefore expect a decision from me by 6 May 2019. The period of 30 days may be extended if I need to consult third parties or for other reasons. I will advise you if this happens.

Dear C Faulk

I refer to your request below for access to documents relating to 5G Discussions under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act).

As your request covers documents which contain another individual’s personal information, ARPANSA is consulting with the relevant individuals (under section 27A of the FOI Act) before making a decision on the release of those documents.

For this reason the period for processing your request has been extended by 30 days in order to allow time to consult (section 15(6) of the FOI Act). The processing period for your request will now end on Monday 3 June 2019.

Yours sincerely

Dear Gemma,

I am not entirely sure what you are asking me to clarify with your most recent e-mail: "Please let me know whether you are seeking draft meeting minutes?"

Are you asking to narrow the focus of your search? Or to include/exclude anything apart from what I had previously requested?

Yours sincerely,

c.faulk

Dear C Faulk

I refer to your email below.

The inclusion of drafts significantly increases the work involved in processing your request. Accordingly, I have made a decision to apply a charge.

Attached is my decision to impose a charge dated 22 May 2019.

Kind regards

Dear Gemma,

At this stage the charge would cause me financial hardship. In which case I ask either the charge to be waived, or to proceed with the request on the basis of only including final minutes.

Yours sincerely,

c.faulk
