FOI, Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority

Good afternoon Richard,

I refer to our telephone conversation earlier today.

As discussed, the below request is not a valid request under section 15 of the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act) because it does not request access to documents.

It is possible that the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority may decide in the future to publish information relating to the Abbot Point development on its website. I note you intend to wait and see whether such information is made publically available before you decide whether you wish to proceed with a freedom of information request.

In the event you decide to make a further request, please do not hesitate to contact me so that I can assist you with making a valid request under the FOI Act.

Kind regards,

Tanya Renton
