Attorney-General’s Department (the department) Freedom of Information
(FOI) section on 13 October 2025.

 

We note that we received this request from you twice: one via Right to
Know, and one via your own email address. We are confirming our
correspondence with you that you have asked us to continue with the
request on the Right to Know website and withdraw the other request.

 

We received your FOI request on 13 October 2025 and the 30-day statutory
period for processing your request commenced from the following day. A
decision is therefore due by 12 November 2025. However, this may be
extended if the department needs to consult third parties or for other
reasons. We will advise you if this happens.

 

We also note that in correspondence for your duplicate request, you
indicated that the following information was not of interest to you and
could be excluded from the scope of your request:

-             duplicates of documents that are in scope;

-             personal information of members of the public;

-             contact details for teams, internal to the department and
other agencies

-             personal information belonging to officers of the department
and other government agencies.
