Good afternoon

On 6 January 2026, the Australian National University (the University)
received your request for access to documents under the Freedom of
Information Act 1982 (the FOI Act).

The University has taken your request to be as follows:

‘I request all documents relating to ANU contracts with Rowdy Inc. This
includes, but is not limited to:

i) Declared conflicts of interest and mitigation plans from ANU staff in
the Office of the Interim vice chancellor and Rowdy Inc to undertake this
engagement.

ii) Emails, teams chats, meeting notes, task organising platforms, signal
or Whatsapp chats between the Office of the Interim Vice chancellor or the
communications/media function and Rowdy.

iii) Terms of reference or scoping documents to engage Rowdy. This
includes the timeline, deliverables and date of initial engagement under
the contract.

iv) Exemption documents to engage Rowdy Inc without proper undertaking of
ANUs procurement processes for a fair and open tender process with
multiple vendors.

v) Invoices or schedule of payments between ANU and Rowdy Inc.

vi) Emails, meeting notes for an extension to the contract and required
work, including additional payment or variation to the contract.

The date range is 1 August 2025 to present’

Your request has been assigned the case number 202600006, please quote
this number for any future correspondence regarding your request

Processing Timeframe

The statutory time frame for processing your request is 30 calendar days
from day after the date your request was received by the University. You
should therefore expect a decision from us by 5 February 2026.

This period of 30 days may be extended if we need to consult third
parties, impose a charge or for other reasons. We will advise you in
writing if this happens.

The FOI Team’s workload is currently at very high levels due the
