I am making a request under the Freedom of Information Act.

I am requesting the average APS base salary for each diversity group (CALD/NESB, people with a disability, First Nations, gender), for each year going back to 2015.

I am writing to acknowledge receipt of your request under the Freedom of
Information Act 1982 (FOI Act) for internal review.

 

The timeframe for responding to your request is 30 days from the date of
receipt. Therefore, the due date for this request is 22 November 2025.

 

This date falls on a Sunday. The Office of the Australian Information
Commissioner’s [1]Guidance provides the following:

 

“The end of the 30 day processing period is affected by s 36(2) of
the Acts Interpretation Act 1901. If the last day for notifying a decision
falls on a Saturday, Sunday or a public holiday, the timeframe will expire
on the first day following which is none of those days.”

 

On this basis, we are extending the due date for your request to Monday,
24 November 2025.
