Average processing wait time for s48 plan change requests and s100 internal reviews

We're waiting for Lucy Avis to read a recent response and update the status.

Please provide the current average wait time range (shortest and longest) for processing of S48 change of circumstances requests and S100 internal review of decisions. Please also provide this information for the same time in 2024, 2023 and 2022.

Dear Lucy Avis,
Thank you for your request for information under the Freedom of
Information Act 1982 (Cth) (FOI Act).
We are writing to provide you with an update on your request and ask that
you agree to the proposed revised scope.
Scope of your request
You have requested access to:

After completing preliminary enquiries with the Analytics, Data and
Actuarial Division, we are writing to ask that you agree to the proposed
scope below-
‘As at 30 September 2025 data, the average waiting time of the requests we
have received in FY 2022, FY 2023, FY 2024 and FY 2025 due to CoC for
S48s, and for S100s.’
Next Steps
Please provide your agreement as requested above, by 05 January 2025. If
we do not hear from you, we will continue to process your request with the
information you have already provided. This may include us not being able
to release to you, the information which you have requested. 
We apologise for the delay in processing your request for information,
please note that the NDIA's reduced activity period (RAP) takes effect
from close of business Wednesday 24 December 2025 until Thursday 1 January
2026. Regular operations resume on Friday 2 January 2026. We will continue
to process your request during this time, with an outcome expected in the
new year.
