My wife and I would like to know who told the Council that the Building work was carried out without a building permit being issued and in force under
the Building Act 1993?

Hi Cameron,

 

Thank you for contacting Council with your request under the Freedom of
Information Act 1982 (VIC) (FOI Act).

 

Currently your request is not valid under section 17 of the FOI Act, as
you have not paid the application fee of $33.60.

Please be advised that, in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act,
section 33(1) exempts documents or information that may impact the
personal privacy of individuals other than the applicant.

 

As a result, Council is unable to disclose names to you due to this

If you choose to continue with your application, please ensure payment of
the application fee as required by section 17 of the FOI Act is made.

 

Also noting that the information of the individual wont be released to you
based on the provisions of the Act.
