Coomera Connector - Foxwell Road traffic impact study.

We're waiting for David Ryan to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads,

I am a Coomera Waters resident and am very concerned about the mayhem that will occur when the southern section of the Coomera Connector opens and terminates on Shipper Drive, filtering traffic onto Foxwell Road to join the M1.

I have asked a number of State politicians via email and social media for a copy of the traffic impact study so I can see what the experts beleive will happen but nobody will provide this to me.

I request that you send me a copy of this report.

Yours faithfully,

David Ryan

Megan L Miles, Queensland Department of Transport and Main Roads

Good morning David

Thank you for your email to the Department of Transport and Main Roads about accessing a copy of the traffic impact study for when the southern section of the Coomera Connector opens and terminates on Shipper Drive, filtering traffic onto Foxwell Road to join the M1.

I am advised by the South Coast Region of the department that this report does not exist.

I regret that I was unable to assist on this occasion.

Kind regards

Megan Miles

Dear Megan L Miles,

I'm wondering if I was too specific in my request when I asked for the "traffic impact study". Are you saying that the Government is building a road that they expect to carry 60,000 vehicles a day and they have not considered at all the problems that will be created when these vehicles enter Foxwell Road?

Yours sincerely,

David Ryan

Good afternoon David

Thank you for your email.

Unfortunately I am not able to provide any further information relating to this matter however, I would recommend you contact the South Coast Region directly at [email address] in the first instance as they will be able to assist.

Kind regards
