Dear Freedom of Information,
I wish to clarify my request, to cover all correspondence between:
The Vice Chancellor and/or Chancellor,
and:
Senators Pocock, Sheldon and Gallagher; MPs D Smith, A Payne, A Leigh, and Minister for Education Jason Clare.
For the period of time 1 January 2025 to Present.
Yours sincerely,
Jessie Brown
Dear Jessie Brown
Thank you for your email.
However, the change in scope does not sufficiently clarify the request to
enable us to undertake proper searches. To require a search of "all
correspondence" does not provide clear search terms, such that the process
of undertaking such a search is likely to amount to an unreasonable
diversion of resources.
In accordance with the previous notice, you have until the 12 August 2025
to provide a further refinement of your request which will remove the
practical refusal reason.
Regards,
FOI Team

Dear Jessie Brown,
Apologies for not responding sooner, however, we have had some staff absences in the last few weeks.
Thank you for further revising the scope of your request, however, the latest revision does not appear to substantially differ from your first revision of 31 July 2025. Accordingly, the reasons for the Practical Refusal have not been removed.
You now have until COB 27 August 2025 to further revise the scope of your request in an effort to remove the reasons for the Practical Refusal.
If no further advice has been received by the 27 August 2025, your request will be deemed to be withdrawn.
Kind regards
