Dear Department of Social Services,
I am writing to you under the Freedom of Information act 1982.
I wish to make an informal request for information and/or supporting documents regarding the deaths of children who were uninvestigated/ignored by the Department of Community Services.
I would like to obtain information on the number of children under the age of 14 who died in the last 10 years from abuse/neglect after numerous reports about the child's welfare were made to child protective services in all states.
Thank you for contacting the Freedom of Information (FOI) inbox of the
Commonwealth Department of Social Services (DSS). Your email, should it be
a request for access to documents under the Freedom of Information Act
1982, will be actioned by the appropriate team member.
If your email is for any other enquiry you should direct it to
[email address]. It will not be actioned from this inbox.
