Derivatives of AS/NZS 1547:2012
Dear Australian Building Codes Board,
I am seeking access, under the FOI act, to unpublished (not presently available to the public) derivatives of AS/NZS 1547:2012.
The document(s) I'm looking for may be a draft intended as a future standard, an amended version of AS/NZS 1547:2012, or the like.
The document may be in your records as part of ABCB involvement with a Joint Technical Committee to develop or comment on the development of a new standard.
Yours faithfully,
Mr Mitchel Bradley
Dear Mr Bradley
We refer to your FOI request received by the Department of Industry,
Science, Energy and Resources for access to:
"...Unpublished (not presently available to the public)
derivatives of AS/NZS 1547:2012.
The document(s) I'm looking for may be a draft intended as a future
standard, an amended version of AS/NZS 1547:2012, or the like.
The document may be in your records as part of ABCB involvement with a
Joint Technical Committee to develop or comment on the development of a
new standard."
Searches for documents already conducted confirm that no documents exist.
The documents you are seeking belong to Standards Australia, which are
publically available for purchase here:
[1]https://store.standards.org.au/product/a...
In light of the above, we are inviting you to withdraw your FOI request.
If you do not agree to withdraw your FOI request, you will be issued an
FOI decision to refuse access on the basis that no documents exist.
Please advise if you agree to withdraw your request by Tuesday 28 June
2022.

Dear Freedom of Information,
Thank you for your quick response, I'm sorry that I don't understand why you have asked me to withdraw my request, if the requested documents do not exist in your records, is not the correct process for ABCB to confirm as much under FOI?
This request is substantively different to my previous request, in which I requested early drafts of AS/NZS 1547:2012. The document(s) I'm presently seeking may be a draft intended as a future
standard, an amended version of AS/NZS 1547:2012, or the like.
Yours sincerely,
Mr Mitchel Bradley
