Dear Mr Smith,

I refer to your email dated 16 February 2017 where you are seeking 'data provided to the external organisation(s) responsible for conducting the ballot(s) for all Enterprise Agreements put to staff for a vote' ('Request’) under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (‘Act’).

Austrade received your request on 16 February. The 30 day statutory period for processing your request commenced from the day after that date ie from 17 February. You can expect a decision on this Request by 20 March. However, we will aim to have this Request finalised as early as possible.

The period of 30 days to process this FOI request may be extended if we need to consult third parties, impose a charge, or for other reasons. We will let you know if this occurs. We will seek to process your request as quickly as possible.

You will be notified of any charges that Austrade may decide to impose in relation to your request as soon as possible before we process any documents that fall within the scope of your request.

It is Austrade’s policy to withhold the mobile numbers of all government officials, and the names and contact details of government officials not in the Senior Executive Service (SES). We note you have excluded personal information of employees from your request.

Please also note that information released under the FOI Act may later be published online on our disclosure log (http://www.austrade.gov.au/FOI-disclosur...), subject to certain exceptions. (For example, personal information will not be published where this would be unreasonable.)
