Thank you for your email clarifying your original request.

 

The Chief Executive Officer of the Australian Institute of Marine Science
is the principal officer referred to in section 23(1) of the Freedom of
Information Act. Following receipt of appropriate advice and information
from relevant officers, all decisions in respect of valid requests under
the Freedom of Information Act 1982 are currently made by the Chief
Executive Officer of AIMS.

 

Please note that AIMS’ Townsville Facility will close from 12pm tomorrow
afternoon and re-open Tuesday 3^rd January 2017.  On behalf of the
institute, we wish you a safe and merry Christmas and a prosperous 2017.
