Free vote for same-sex marriage
The request was refused by Prime Minister.
From: Rebecka Davidsson
Dear Prime Minister,
I seek any correspondence between the former Prime Minister office of Tony Abbott and the government backbencher Ewen Jones about a free vote for same-sex marriage in Australia.
As an international student I want to know why Australia does not support same-sex marriage as the last western country in the world to acknowledge the rights for homosexual people.
Dear Ms Davidsson,
Thank you for your email dated 30 September 2015 regarding correspondence related to same sex marriage. To assist with progressing your request could you please confirm if this request is directed to Prime Minister Turnbull and his office or to the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet?
