Hair and make up costs for IVC Rebekah Brown

Dear Australian National University,

Background: Rebekah Brown has regularly had a hair an makeup artist at ANU for appearances as the IVC. I would like to confirm if ANU or commonwealth funds were used to pay for hair and make up.

Under the Freedom of Information Act 1982 (Cth), I seek access to any and all documents held by the Australian National University that relate to:
- hair and make up costs and bookings for interim Vice chancellor Rebekah Brown.
- This includes invoices or ANU payments; emails, texts or other communications to hair or make-up artists from Rebekah Brown or her office; diary appointments held in ANU calendars for the Provost or IVC, and emails or approvals for use of ANU funding for this purpose.

The date range is from 20 August 2025 to present.

The University has taken your request to be as follows:

- hair and make up costs and bookings for interim Vice chancellor Rebekah Brown.

- This includes invoices or ANU payments; emails, texts or other communications to hair or make-up artists from Rebekah Brown or her office; diary appointments held in ANU calendars for the Provost or IVC, and emails or approvals for use of ANU funding for this purpose.”
