Australia (the Agency).

 

This email acknowledges your correspondence and provides some general

Administrative release of documents

The Agency has administrative access arrangements in place for the release
of certain documents without the need for a formal FOI request. These
arrangements do not extend to information or material of third parties.

 

Exclusion of staff details

The Agency is working towards ensuring all staff have a choice about
whether they provide their full name, personal logon identifiers and
direct contact details in response to FOI requests. Where such details are
included in documents they will be redacted. If you request staff details
as part of your FOI application, this may add to processing time and
applicable charges as it will be necessary to consider whether these
details are exempt under the FOI Act.

I refer to your correspondence received by Services Australia (the Agency)
on 24 September 2023, requesting the following:

How many people have been allowed to voluntarily remove themselves from
mandatory income management in the Northern Territory. From December 20
2021 to September 24 2023.

Your request does not meet the requirements for the Agency to release
documents to you under the FOI Act. This is because a person is not
entitled to obtain access to a document if it is available elsewhere
(section 12(1)(c) of the FOI Act).

 

Access Data

The Agency has arrangements in place for the purchase of statistical
information and data. Therefore, in accordance with section 12(1)(c) of
the FOI Act, you are not entitled to request access to the documents under
the FOI Act.
