Good afternoon Mr Taylor,
I acknowledge receipt of your application made under the Freedom of
Information Act 1992 (the FOI Act) seeking access to:
“I am looking for name and address of 1HVM593 due to the car accident.”
Your application was received on 19 July 2023 and is currently being
processed in accordance with the FOI Act. This Department is obliged to
answer your application within a 45-day period, which expires on 2
September 2023.
Under the FOI Act I am prohibited from releasing Third Party Information
to you, as per Clause 3 of the FOI Act as below:
3. Personal information
(1) Matter is exempt matter if its disclosure would reveal personal
information about an individual (whether living or dead).
Due to this I am seeking advice if you still wish to pursue your
application or if you would like me to withdraw your application.
Also, if you wish to continue to pursue your application, I can advise
that your application is considered a Non-Personal Application
(application for documents not about yourself - requires a $30 application
fee).
To enable me to process your FOI Application, I will require payment of
the FOI Application fee pursuant to Section 12(1)(e) of the FOI Act. The
Application fee is prescribed by the Freedom of Information Regulations
1992 as $30 and is payable to the Department of Transport either by cheque
or money order, or you can use your credit card and pay via BPoint payment

If no response is received by 2 August 2023 I will assume you no longer
with to pursue your application and will withdraw your application and
refund your $30.00 application fee. Please let me know how you would like
