Dear Applicant,
Following search and retrieval activities, we have been advised of the
following:
“an itemised statement of university paid travel for Ms Julie Bishop and
Prof Genevieve Bell in 2023, 2024 and 2025 – and with the specific
requested - does not exist.
This is not a document that the university would create in relation to
travel in the normal operation of business.”
If you would like to revise your request to capture documentation that
would likely exist, you are welcome to do so – if we do not receive a
revision by COB Thursday 12 June 2025, we will issue a decision specifying
that no documents exist in relation to your request.
It is important to note that under FOI legislation, agencies do not have
any obligation to create documentation to satisfy a request. Rather,
requests should contain appropriate specificity within their scope to
articulate precisely the documents the applicant is seeking.
Regards,
ANU FOI Team
