Your Freedom of Information request - Acknowledgement

 

We refer to your request, received by the Department of Employment and
Workplace Relations (department) on 29 November 2024, for access under the
Freedom of Information Act 1982 (FOI Act) to the following documents:

 

“… a full list of organisations which … are currently registered to host
Work for the Dole programs.”

 

Your reference number for this request is LEX 1302. Please include this
reference number in all correspondence relating to your request.

 

Interpretation of request

 

The department has interpreted your request to be seeking access to the
following documents:

 

“… a full list of organisations which … [were] registered to host Work for
the Dole programs [as at 30 November 2024].”

 

If we have misinterpreted your request, please let us know by 3pm, 9
December 2024 . If we do not hear from you by that date, we will proceed
on the basis that we have correctly interpreted your request.

 

Timeframe

 

The 30-day statutory period for processing your request commenced from the
day after the department received your request. The 30-day timeframe may
be extended with your agreement or where otherwise permitted under the FOI
Act (for example, if the department is required to undertake third party
consultation).

 

As the department will be closed from midday 24 December 2023 until 1
January 2024, we are seeking your agreement to a 10-day extension of time
for the department to process your request, pursuant to section 15AA of
the FOI Act. If you agree to this extension the new decision date for your
request will be 9 January 2025. The department will then inform the Office
of the Australian Information Commissioner of the revised due date.

 

Please let us know by 3pm, 9 December 2024 whether you are agreeable to an
extension.

 

Charges

 

The department will advise you if a charge is payable to process your
request and the amount of any such charge as soon as practicable.

 

Your address

 

The FOI Act requires that you provide us with an address that we can send
