Mark Bydder made this Freedom of Information request to WA Public Transport Authority

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, WA Public Transport Authority should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear WA Public Transport Authority,

I am writing to you in regards to TWU member Pritam Rodrigues.

Pritam was driving a Path Transit bus on the 30 November 2020, bus number 5217.

Pritam was advised that he left Ursula Frayne Catholic College 4 minutes earlier then the scheduled departure time which was 3:30pm.

On investigation we have been advised that PTA became aware of the incident due to a parent complaint stating he left a child behind.

As his representative, I made contact with the school and spoke to the Vice Principal. During that discussion I was told that no child was left behind and in fact their method of ensuring school children caught their bus was full proof.

I request a copy of the original PTA documentation that was submitted to Path Transit in relation to this incident as well as documentation of the phone call that was made by the parent advising their child was left behind.

Please find below authorisation from Pritam Rodrigues for myself to act on his behalf in this matter.

To,
Mr: Mark Bydder, Organiser, ( Transport Workers Union).

As it appears like I was falsely accused on 2 counts by my company, through a letter, wherein both you and me have tried to inform my company Management / proved to them that these charges of theirs were incorrect, inspite of which as they are still perceivering with these claims of theirs, which has caused me immense stress, for which I am currently being attended to by my General Practitioner and my Clinical Psychologist, I request you to please acquire further clarification for this, on my behalf.

Left with no other choice I request you to Kindly apply for the Document that was issued by Transperth based on which these accusations were made against me, by my company.

I request you to kindly apply for the required document from the office of 'The Freedom Of Information' for this case of mine.

With you Mr. Mark Bydder, being my T.W.U. Organiser, I HEREBY AUTHORIZE YOU TO KINDLY APPLY FOR THIS DOCUMENT ON MY BEHALF THROUGH THE OFFICE OF 'THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION' TO SEEK AND ACQUIRE CLARIFICATION IN REGARDS TO MY CASE.

All this, while all I have and you have been asking for, is / was proof of the letter of Transperth, which they, (my company), have not provided to either you or me, on the basis of which they, (my company), have stood me down and caused me this immense stress due to which, during this Covid-19 phase, I was rendered jobless.
This document, once acquired will help me in seeking clarity, after-which, if I am proved wrong only through this document from Transperth, I would be happy to be able to move on with the perceived meeting with my company, in regards to these accusations of theirs, which has caused me this immense stress.

As I feel victimized, bullied and fearful of being targeted unjustly I request you, Mr. Mark Bydder, (Organiser, T.W.U.), as my Transperth Workers Union Representative, to kindly apply for the proof of this document through 'The Office of the Freedom of Information' for which I have issued this 'Letter of Authorisation' for the said document, that pertains to these so said false accusation made on me, by my company

Dear WA Public Transport Authority,

Hi

I sent a FOI in November in relation to a matter I am

Can you please provide me with the details so I can pay the fee or alternatively contact me on 0407 003 687.

Yours faithfully,
