Thank you for your enquiry to access documents that may be held with the
City of Gold Coast. I have included some information about how to lodge a
Right to Information application.
Lodging the application
You can lodge your application online at the [1]City’s Website. Please
complete all required fields ensuring you have any required documents e.g.
certified identification documents ready to attach to the application.
Information to provide
You need to give us enough information about the documents you are
requesting to help us identify them. The type of information you need to
provide will depend on the type of documents you are after however you
should include any known reference numbers, specific dates or references
to internal dealings with City departments regarding the matter. You
should also specify the time period of the documents that you are applying
for.
You should describe the specific documents that you want to access clearly
enough for us to be able to:
a. identify the documents being applied for
b. conduct searches for the documents; and
c. make decisions on the documents.
