Parramatta Leagues Club 41A

Brent Read made this Government Information (Public Access) request to NSW Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was refused by NSW Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority.

Dear Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority - NSW,

I would like to request all material related to the authority's resolution that led to ILGA determining:

1. That in its opinion, the board of PLC had ceased to be effective as a governing body; and
2. Pursuant to section 41A of the Act, to appoint Mr Max Donnelly of Ferrier Hodgson as temporary administrator to administer the affairs of PLC.

I believe this information is in the public interest because of the high-profile nature of the case and the impact it has had on the lives of not only the board members of Parramatta, but also the thousands of members of the club who remain in the dark over what happened.

Yours faithfully,
Brent Read

Dear NSW Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority,

Dear NSW Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of NSW Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority's handling of my FOI request 'Parramatta Leagues Club 41A'.

I made an initial request on September 1 in relation to this matter and followed up with subsequent requests on October 9 and 31. I am yet to receive any response from the body and therefore request a review of the matter because by law, under all circumstances, the authority should have responded by now.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.righttoknow.org.au/request/p...

Yours faithfully,

Brent Read

Dear NSW Independent Liquor and Gaming Authority,

Re: Parramatta Leagues Club 41A

I am following up on a series of Freedom of Information requests I have made in relation to dealings with Parramatta Leagues Club. I made an official request on September 21 and followed that up with further requests on October 9 and 31. Having failed to receive a reply, I requested an internal review on November 14. I am yet to receive any information or acknowledgment of this request. I therefore request that I receive an official response in respect to the progress of my requests.

Yours faithfully,

Brent Read

Dear Mr Read,

I refer to your requests for information via the Right To Know website.

Please accept my apologies for the delay in responding - unfortunately
your requests have been forwarded to an old ILGA email address that is not
in use by Liquor and Gaming NSW and is therefore not monitored. We are now
aware of this problem and have set up an automatic response providing an
alternate email address for any future enquiries to that mail box.

Should you still require the information, you will need to put in a formal
request under the GIPA Act. Information on how to access information under
the GIPA act is available through the following link:

I have attached a GIPA application form for your use. This should be
returned to the following address for actioning:

GIPAA Unit
NSW Department of Justice
GPO Box 6
SYDNEY NSW 2001

Once formally submitted, the request will be actioned by Liquor and Gaming
NSW within the required timeframes.

Once again, I apologise for the mix up with the email addresses and
subsequent delays in receiving your request for information.

With regards

Denise
