Dear Ms Martinek

I refer to your email outlining a request under the Freedom of Information
Act 1982 (FOI Act) for access to an extract of the diary for the Shadow
Minister for Communications, the Hon. Michelle Rowlands MP.

Please note that the Department does not hold any such documents.

As it may assist you, you should also that under FOI Act you can only
request access to documents held by an agency or the official documents of
a current Minister of the Australian Government.  This means a document
held by a current Minister about the affairs of an Australian Government
agency.

Members of the Shadow Ministry are appointed by the Parliamentary
Opposition party.  They are not Ministers of the Australian Government
subject to the FOI Act.

Yours sincerely
